Garsington Opera's Youth Company provides young people aged 9-25 with the opportunity to develop their singing, creative skills, confidence and stage experience through the exciting world of opera. Productions take place every summer at Garsington Opera, with rehearsals local to High Wycombe and the surrounding area. Application is via the form below and membership is through annual workshop auditions. No experience is necessary as we welcome young people from all backgrounds with enthusiasm and a zest for performing. All places are fully-funded and awarded on potential rather than prior experience.
2023 Production
The 2023 Youth Company project has been born out of the Dawn to Dusk devising sessions where young people around the world worked with a writer and composer to create the opera that will be performed.
Rehearsals will be held in venues local to High Wycombe and the performance will be on Friday 28 July 2023 on the main stage at Garsington Opera near Stokenchurch. Please see the schedule for full details.

Auditions for our 2023 production are now closed but we would love to have you join us next year. To add your name to our list for the 2024 auditions, please click the button below to fill out our enquiry form. No experience is needed as participants are selected on the basis of potential.
