The King of Poland has left to reclaim his throne. When he asks Belfiore to impersonate him, the power goes to his head. Christopher Alden makes his Garsington directing debut, Tobias Ringborg (Idomeneo, 2016) returns to conduct, with Grant Doyle (The Skating Rink, 2017) as Belfiore and Christine Rice (Semele, 2017) as the Marchesa.
