We offer opportunities for adults from all walks of life to create and perform together in projects and performances. No audition is required for most of the projects, just an appetite to try something new, sing as a collective and be creative. There are sometimes opportunities to play roles as actors in the main season productions as well as performing in your own right in the Adult Company at Wormsley on a regular basis.
In addition to performances at the Wormsley Estate, the Adult Company has also appeared recently at the Victoria and Albert Museum and on BBC Arts.
This summer the Adult Company were involved in a digital project entitled ‘I Look for the Think’. Written by Orlando Gough, the words were written by Lucinda Jarrett and Chris Rawlence, in collaboration with the South London Stroke Ambassadors, Kim and Sarah Fraser and the experiences of staff from across a network of hospitals. Karen Gillingham (Creative Director) and Lea Cornthwaite (Vocal Director) ran weekly online rehearsals for the Adult Company which culminated in a digital performance of the piece.
