We would be delighted to welcome you as a member of Garsington Opera. It is only with the support of our members that we can achieve the artistic quality that you see on our stage. Members are offered priority booking to secure tickets on the dates of their choice.

We are so grateful to our members whose support enables us to achieve the artistic quality of our productions and our work in the local community.

Membership donations not only support our productions but also our outreach work in the community, building friendships and changing lives through involvement in the arts.

Priority Booking

During the priority booking period, members are invited to request tickets in line with the suggested quantity below:

Ingrams Circle: Your choice of tickets across the season with no more than 12 on any one evening.
Constellation of Garsington: 22 tickets across the season, or 30 when attending three or more different productions, with no more than 8 on any one evening.
Patrons: 14 tickets across the season, or 16 tickets when attending three or more different productions.
Special Friends: 10 tickets across the season, or 12 tickets when attending three or more different productions.
Friends: 4 tickets across the season, or 8 tickets when attending three or more different productions.

 

Membership Categories

Ingrams Circle: This category is named after Leonard Ingrams whose vision it was to start Garsington Opera in his garden at Garsington Manor in 1989. The suggested donation is £5,750 and we hope that members of the Ingrams Circle can support us further with an application for tickets, and we would request that no more than 12 tickets are applied for on any one evening. Ingrams Circle members will be invited to meet the creative teams involved in the productions and to attend rehearsals.

Constellation of Garsington: The suggested donation is £1,800 and we hope that Constellation members can support us further with an application for tickets, up to a maximum of 22, or 30 when attending three or more different productions. We would request that no more than 8 tickets are applied for on any one evening.

Patrons: The suggested donation is £600 and we hope that you can support us further with an application for up to 14 tickets over the season, or 16 tickets when attending three or more different productions. 

Special Friends (a waiting list applies): The suggested donation is £210 and we hope that you can support us further with an application for up to 10 tickets over the season, or 12 tickets when attending three or more different productions.

Friends (a waiting list applies): The suggested donation in £85 and we hope that you can support us further with an application for up to 4 tickets over the season, or 8 tickets when attending three or more different productions. 

Affiliate Membership: The suggested donation is £25. Priority booking before the public, and enrolment on the waiting list to join as a full member, when space becomes available. 

GO≤35 Membership: The cost for under 35 membership is £10. Priority booking before the public, a pair of £35 tickets, free glass of fizz and train transfer and a half-price programme.

American Friends: American Friends are invited to join us and enjoy tax benefits in the United States. American Friends of Garsington Opera, Inc. is a US based 501(c)(3) charitable organisation.
