Learning & Participation Producer

We are looking for a Producer for our Learning & Participation Programme to work with our Creative Director, L&P to devise and plan an exciting, ambitious and innovative annual programme of L&P activity. The L&P Producer is responsible for managing the implementation of this programme. 

The L&P Producer line manages the L&P Co-ordinator (p/t position, 1 day a week). 

This is a part-time, freelance appointment reporting to the Executive Director, and working closely with the Creative Director, L&P, Karen Gillingham. The role is based on an annual average of three days per week, with seasonal variation around project delivery. Working hours are flexible and may include evenings and weekends. 

Fee by negotiation.

Alvarez Young Artists' Programme / Chorus (2019 Season)

We are auditioning for the 2019 Alvarez Young Artist Programme. As well as singing in the chorus, successful applicants will be considered for covers and small roles. Covers will also perform a full main stage performance of Fantasio for a schools audience and a small-scale version of Don Giovanni for donors. There is also the opportunity to take part in masterclasses, recitals and other enrichment activities. 

2019 Season:
Mozart Don Giovanni in Italian
Smetana The Bartered Bride in Czech
Offenbach Fantasio in English
Britten The Turn of the Screw in English

Contracts will run from roughly 16 April - 25 July 2019; all applicants must be available to work full-time during this period, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays. Please note we can only accept applications from UK/EU passport holders or those with a full UK working visa (NOT a student visa). 

Auditions will be held in September and October 2018 until all chorus slots are filled.
