Walled Garden
Take a short journey in a complimentary bus to the beautiful 18th century Walled Garden and explore its four contrasting quarters.
Dating back to the mid-1700s, Wormsley’s original Walled Garden was created by Richard Woods, a contemporary of Capability Brown.
Having been somewhat neglected for the best part of a century, the gardens were reinvigorated. Re-imagining the space into four garden rooms, each with a different purpose, The Walled Garden was redesigned with sections for flower and vegetable gardens, producing wonderful floral displays for cricket, the opera, and the main house, as well as fruit and produce for the wider estate.
