An appeal was launched in June 2010 for the relocation of the opera company from Garsington Manor to the idyllic setting of Wormsley in 2011.
The appeal was to fund the new seasonal opera pavilion, incorporating the auditorium, stage, orchestra pit, covered foyer and bar, as well as the expense of relocating. It has ensured Garsington Opera's long-term sustainability including its highly regarded education and outreach work with the local community.

At the opening of the 2011 season it was announced that the appeal had reached its target of £3.5m. We are extremely grateful to all our donors, without whose generosity we could not have achieved this.
