Edinburgh International Festival 2022

This summer, we are thrilled to be making our Edinburgh International Festival debut with Dvořák's best-loved opera, the dark fairy tale Rusalka. Following the end of our 2022 Season at Wormsley, Rusalka heads north for three performances at Edinburgh's Festival Theatre on the 6, 8 & 9 August 2022.
"All of us at Garsington Opera are thrilled to be part of the Edinburgh International Festival, joining so many acclaimed arts organisations from around the world. It's a particular delight to me to be returning to my native Scotland to conduct Rusalka and to introduce to a new audience this wonderful creative team, cast led by Natalya Romaniw in the title role and chorus of Young Artists. Our long-term partnership with the Philharmonia Orchestra continues to help us achieve the highest artistic standards." – Douglas Boyd, Artistic Director
Tickets for the Edinburgh International Festival will go on sale at 10am (BST) on Friday 8 April 2022 on the festival website.
